Black / African American Thinspo

Just occurred to me that I haven't really done a post like this, which is bizarre because I have a lot in my files.

Just a little african american thinspo...runway style!

Yeah - and how cute is this outfit!!!

BEST ARMS and SHOULDER BLADES:

More Black thinspo to come. An Alek Wek post, perhaps???

I have an admission to make, and it seems like this might be the place to make it--a blog celebrating female thinness. I call it an admission since the truth of it is politically unpopular, and also since I'm not in the habit of posting personal views like this in public. So, why I am doing it? Just to say it, I suppose, and say it to an audience that'll get it.

For the longest time I've harbored what seems to me like a religious devotion to the thin runway model. It exists like some kind of religious feeling, a feeling of adoration of the divine in the lanky arms and legs, the swanlike and graceful necks, the breathtaking spread of tummy between two prominent hip bones, and so forth.

A male friend of mine (I'm male too, if that wasn't already somewhat clear) asks me if I want women to have eating disorders. I tell him I'm horrified of the idea--of course I would not wish for that on anyone. And yet, for whatever combination of nature and nurture, I love the bodies of thin women with a great intensity. Seeing a 5'11", 120 model in a swimsuit, for instance, is for me like seeing a glimpse of a higher realm, something impossible made real, a rarefied perfection. Heck, I'd want to be one of them, just so I could look at myself in a mirror all day.

Anyway, more could be said, but I'll leave it at that. Comments of any type welcome.

Is it redundant for me to say 'wonderful blog'? Best wishes to you.

Ok, I am going on a Caribbean vacation in exactly 20 days. I just want to lose about 5-10 more pounds. This whole lemonade syrup diet thing is really sparking my interest. Can somebody tell me specifics?? Is it going to make me puke or have diarrhea for 10 days? I just need to know for the sake of my job, I have to be careful what I'm drinking all day. Any help would be MUCH APPRECIATED! Thanks ladies :)

I love your blog and I'm so happy I came across it. Honestly, for me Rihanna is the best and most amazing thinspo in the world because she is just drop dead gorgeous!
Check it out:

Beyonce too:

They're obviously not models, but in my opinion they are definately worth noting.
